About Us

The New Winds Hotel, Coffee Bar and Restaurant, is set in Lakeside, Pokhara, Nepal, the gateway city for treks to the Annapurna range of the Himalayas.
Managed by owner American James Hetherington, this new hotel has ten comfortably equipped en-suite double rooms with twin beds, hot and cold running water, TV and room service. Seasonal Rates for our twin-bed and double rooms, please e-mail or call us for our reasonable rates. A well equipped gym is free of charge for hotel guests. Enhanced security is in place at night.

Transport
The New Winds is just a few minutes walk from Fewa Lake on Fewa Marg, which leads to the downtown area. A frequent bus service connects with the centre of Pokhara, the journey takes about twenty minutes and costs 11 rupees each way. Taxis to the centre cost a hundred rupees, and charge the same price for journeys to the airport, which is fifteen minutes in the other direction.
