About Us
The New Winds Hotel, Coffee Bar and Restaurant, is set in Lakeside, Pokhara, Nepal, the gateway city for treks to the Annapurna range of the Himalayas.
Managed by owner American James Hetherington, this new hotel has ten comfortably equipped en-suite double rooms with twin beds, hot and cold running water, TV and room service. Seasonal Rates for our twin-bed and double rooms, please e-mail or call us for our reasonable rates. A well equipped gym is free of charge for hotel guests. Enhanced security is in place at night. |

A few words from James Hetherington, Founder and director of the Asian Bread of Life Foundation: “I had a vision of a training centre or a school in Pokhara. We have built other businesses and widows and orphans homes in Asia, along with working with children in prison. I believe in giving jobs to unskilled workers and training them. Giving hope through giving jobs can be a great blessing to the family. With your patronage we have started a scholarship fund for children.  Above picture shows some of the 22 children we sponsor for schooling. All employees’ children will have free schooling along with other children in the city and villages. Thank you for you support and kindness.”
